The Light Steel Frame section within GPMS Services evolved from the growing need for structures and buildings which have more efficient building techniques and a shorter construction period. The Light Steel Frame building technique fulfills the main need of the present, minimizing the carbon footprint of a building. 
Light Steel Frame building was only recently introduced in South Africa. It rapidly became one of the most exhilarating developments in the steel and building industries. Light Steel Frame building offers speed, quality and cost efficiency and contributing the environment. 
Light Steel Frame construction works on a system where high tensile galvanized steel (thickness 0.53mm, 0.8mm and 1.0mm) is cold rolled into panels (60mm for roof trusses and 90mm profiles). The panels are riveted together at fabrication point or on site for construction. Containerized machinery can be used for onsite fabrication and construction.
